Media Founder. Transformation Strategist. Author. Documentary Storyteller.
Shilohnie King is the founder and CEO of Lush & Well™, a wellness media platform built on the principle that true wellness requires both inner work and outer infrastructure—health, wealth, and strategic thinking.
With a background spanning finance, journalism, and filmmaking, Shilohnie brings a unique perspective to the wellness industry. She’s a former Business Manager at Royal Bank of Scotland, former Investor Relations Officer for one of Russia’s largest mining companies, and the writer/director/producer of the documentary Pray For Rain (IMDB). She holds certifications as a Holistic Health Practitioner, Nutritionist, Elite Fitness Trainer, and Business Life Coach.
But her real expertise comes from what she’s built—and rebuilt—across continents, industries, and life chapters.
The Work
Shilohnie is the architect behind IVP Women™ (Ingenious, Valiant, Powerhouse), a framework that teaches women to think in moves, not emotions. She blends behavioral psychology, feminine strategy, and economic power to help women dismantle limiting beliefs and rebuild from strength.
Her first book, Surviving the Growing Pains, became an Amazon Bestseller in 2014. Her upcoming book, UNINSTALL, guides women to reclaim their energy, rewrite their programming, and architect their second acts.
Through Lush & Well, her IVP Women newsletter, speaking engagements, and transformational programs, Shilohnie’s work reaches thousands of women globally—delivering content that challenges, educates, and equips.
The Perspective
Born to Guyanese parents and raised in Guyana, South America, Shilohnie has lived and worked internationally, navigating multiple cultures, industries, and systems. She’s a single mother, homeschool educator, and someone who understands what it takes to start over—not from scratch, but from hard-won experience.
Her approach is evidence-based, holistic, and unapologetically strategic. She doesn’t sell motivation. She teaches methodology.
Shilohnie is building Lush & Well into the trusted wellness media platform women turn to for substance, not trends. For strategy, not slogans. For the whole picture, not just the highlight reel.
